Hello i've invested and have been waiting for my Dingoo A380 since feb 28th....

I have read that they were going to release the A380 in the 3rd or 4th week of march, and now the beginnig of April....

Does anyone know when the New Dingoo A380 will be released? Or whats the hold up?

Thanks

Will the devs really ignore the A380 because of the source-code problems? ::)

Can't say for the others, but I won't port my stuff over unless the gpl issues get sorted out.
Would you support a platform which broke the license of the code you worked on and can potentially violate it again with your future ports? If they don't play fair, I won't as well.

I'd say Java is much easier to start with than C.
If you want to do things for the dingoo, you could try Python also.

C is a nice programming language but you have to know a lot about how the hardware works, or else you'll be very frustrated each time you get a segmentation fault ;) (and believe me you'll get some...)

This Gemei a 380 is fake? http://www.it.com.cn/audio/mp4/news/2010/03/10/09/757299_1.html

I have no idea how valid that is, but if it's real I am going to be upset that I bought a GA330.
In either case, this should be it's own topic.

I started a new thread to discuss it: http://boards.dingoonity.org/the-rumor-mill/gemei-a380/new/#new
