So I was given a RMVB MP8000. It's really nice and cool, but I can't play GBA games very well because the "L" button is not set. The GBA "R" button is set to be the square button in the handheld, but the GBA "L" button is absent.
I read somewhere that it is impossible to remap the buttons in this handheld. Is it true?

letcool and at JXD100,200,300,1000,3000,v3 possible ,

I have the JXD100,300,1000,and v3 and I've never been able to re-map the buttons.
How do you do it?

USERCONFIG.BIN

i dont know about that device, but i know some of my mp5 players have a config file for each game. open that with a hex editor and fiddle around a bit, at some point youll know the button values and where which button is described. thats the way i did it on some handhelds :p

USERCONFIG.BIN
Hmm I don't think I've ever seen this file, but I'll look for it.

That seems good stuff, I hope it works.

This feature in some devices from JXD. Other cases you have to do a patch x-delta, and they modify the kernel, with the restore cheksumm.

I would like to remap buttons of a JXD A1000 but when i uncompress the firmware and find the userconfig.bin the settings GAMEKEY1 GAMEKEY2 etc... are not present.
Does that means that this remap is unavailable on this console?
