I just bought a JXD V5000 and think it has a SPMP8000 chip to my surprise. I also bought a JXD A3300 and it seems to have a more powerful ACTIONS 2279 SOC... This is confusing the hell outta me... I thought the V5000 was just an update to the 5000 model?

Also does anyone know what CHIP or SOC the JXD F3000 uses? Is the JXD V5000 better than the F3000? They seem to offer same emulators and game system support.

I'd also be quite surprised if it turns out the V5000 has a SPMP8k, I didn't think those had support for touchscreens or arcade emulation. Have you tried running SPMP8k homebrew on it, like TG16Emu or Quake?

Rather than an update to the 5000, it seems the V5000 was a downgrade of the 5000, produced as less-expensive alternative. JXD had already released the S7100, S9000, and S601 by this time, so they probably intended the V5000 to be a last quick cash-in on the holdouts who weren't ready to splurge on an Android handheld.

Also, good job on finding a working A3300, those things seem to have a propensity for meeting unfortunate accidents. Cue the "Fugitive Alien" music... 

I just bought an A3300 from the seller pro-m on DHgate, but they're shipping it "PARCEL FORCE" from Netherlands, so who knows when it'll show up... 

Even then, I just bought it mostly because of the unique shell. So I'm not too interested in another, or the 5000s... on the other hand, I'm a sucker for a bargain, so if you make me an offer, maybe....
