Master System on the Letcool???

Hi all,

I have had my Letcool for a little while now and am generally pleased with it. There's just one thing missing really... The Sega Master system. I know currently there is no way to play Master System games but does anyone know if it could be done in the future through firmware upgrades? If so, can someone pleeeeeeeeaaaseee do it? Really want to get back into Psycho Fox!  ;D

Back when my letcool worked i used the gba master system emulator. Doesnt run perfect, but better than nothing :p

I guess you could use smsadvance (latest is 2.5).

Your sms rom, lets say Psycho Fox.sms should be converted first using smsadvance in a rom called Psycho Fox.gba that you run with any gba emulator.

Maybe try DrSMS or older version of SmsAdvance. Don't have a letcool so i can't test.

Thats what i used i think.
As far as i remember it was pretty flickery and the sound didnt work, plus it was a little stretched, but it did work.

I haven't tried it myself, but I have a JXD V3 which runs the Mega Drive games perfectly and in theory is a SPMP8000 device, and have read on forums that if you take an SMS rom and rename it (to .gen, .bin,  or .smd what ever the letcool would use for megadrive games) it will work. It's worth a shot, good luck and let me know if it works. ;D
