GB/GBC games not working on Letcool

Hey Gang,
Just tried installing a pile of Game Boy and Game Boy Color games onto my Letcool, but all i get is a white screen for any of them.  I'm using lsd_blottr's firmware...  any help getting them to work?

I've not had any probs with .gb and .gbc on Letcool. Maybe try downloading the games again from a different source.

did you install the firmware corretly? do other games work?
can you hear sound? if yes then just go to the menu, quit and restart the game. my letcool sometimes does that with some games (although my screen is black then)

I figured it out. 
i'm getting stuff onto my letcool from a mac, and for some reason when i copy a rom over it also creates a duplicate file that doesn't work.  these duplicate files are invisible on my mac and even on my PC, but for some reason the Letcool lists them along side the roms.  i was unknowingly trying to run these duplicate files when i got the white screen. 

i had a similar issue with a Archos mp3 player i had a few years back.  just a mac -> PC device issue i guess.
