My .sav is in the gnuboy folder but it don't read it, may I must create a special folder inside de gnuboy's folder like "SAV" or something like that?
Note that the folder name is .gnuboy with a dot before.

Not that it is important at all, but did this version loose the screen luminosity control? Just asking...

Hi, here is my feedback after I have upgraded, upgraded and been run correctly on mb ver 2.1, everything works fine and fast, however there are two problems.

1) it is impossible to transfer data via usb both on the internal memory and on the SD, any opk or roms file is not copied and finally the usb connection is interrupted making a restart necessary.
the solution is simple just hold down the start button during start-up once started it will be possible to transfer the files on the internal memory and on the SD.

2) it is impossible to change the brightness of the display, the option is missing.
Here too, by holding down the start key at startup, the option for brightness will be available, however even changing the value will have no effect and after a restart the option will no longer be available,
So I kindly ask Pcercuei if there is a way to correct the latter.

Thanks waiting for your opinions

New update, pressing the start and r keys at the same time during boot loads the kernel and the previous configuration in this mode it is possible to change the brightness value that will be saved for subsequent starts, it also improves compatibility with data transfer from usb, no more blocks during the transfer, We look forward to feedback is a better solution. Thank you.

Thanks for the update.

Just tested it. Just wow, it's awesome how it improved my fav GBA game - Kirby's Nightmare in Dreamland.

Excuse me, but I'm the only one having problems with USB data transfer and brightness adjustment? at the moment I went back to the previous version 2020/01/06, because after installing the latest update 2020/10/09 g2xmenu continually crashes and then reloads and does so indefinitely.

You probably have one corrupted OPK, try to remove them, then add them one-by-one until you find the one that causes gmenu2x to crash.

Maybe I am doing something wrong in the installation?
I did a clean, flash install of the 2020/01/06 version, and
update to version 2020/10/04 so far works fine except USB transfer and brightness adjustment,
so i tried to update to the night version 2020/10/09, i confirmed that the update was successful, but on restart g2xmenu crashes and restarts indefinitely.
As you can see during this installation I do not install the app.
Thank you.

So, is it better to update from the previous build or just to completely reflash 2020-10-04 cleanly?

At the moment it is possible only to upgrade from the previous build, has not been released utility flash for the 10/20/04

Is anyone have issues with corrupted sav files? I noticed on my Pok?mon Ultra Violet (the reason why I installed this custom firmware) that my new save point would be discarded if I didn't gave it a few second after saving. Now, it just got corrupted as the sav file shows at 0 bytes. I never had this issue or concern with the stock firmware. Is this an issue with this custom firmware, or reGBA or is there any settings or procedure of turning off to prevent this from happening? Thanks.

EDIT: I just saw this post; is this last update the solution?

Yes, turns out I somehow missed that. Guess I'll just try to update then.

For not to damage the saves it is necessary to close the emulator and turn off the console from the appropriate icon, after the screen and the LED go off moves the power switch down, since I follow this procedure my savs are no longer damaged. But I also advise you to make some instant saves in regba, at the moment the solution would be to use the latest night build with the latest version of regba, but it doesn't work for me I keep restarting opendingux and the usb data transfer doesn't work.

Hi Pcercuei, yesterday I tried to do a usb data transfer with rs-90 version 20-10-04 and PC with ubuntu, the transfer works perfectly, in windows 10 does not work,
Do you think you can correct the problem?

Changelog, info, and download links there:

Try with the latest nightly build from http://od.abstraction.se/opendingux/latest/, the MTP stack was updated to the latest upstream version.

The latest nightly leads me to a boot loop so had to reinstalled stable.

I took some time to check thoroughly, even the last build night does not work, g2xmenu always restarts, also the file transfer via usb still does not work with windows 10 but it works with linux.
The problems persist, currently the version 01/20/06 is the only stable one but with performance problems.
Version 10/20/04 improves performance but support for data transfer with windows 10 is missing.
All nightly versions do not work lead to continuous restart of g2xmenu also data transfer does not work with windows 10.

i am having the exact same problem with these night builds on my rs90 as it just keeps rebooting after update
