gmu problem on rs 97 v3.0
« on: December 30, 2020, 09:39:05 am »
Hi. recently i ran into the problem that gmu stopped playing music on my rs 97 v3.0. It is as if the music files were damaged or were in an unreadable format for the program. I have them in MP3 format and it seemed strange to me that after the update to retrofw 2.2 this would happen. Do you know if it is a problem with the version of the console or with retrofw? Excuse my English, I'm still learning.

Hi, sorry for the late answer.

The MP3 playback was in fact a bug in GMU, and I fixed it today on the new OPK re-release of GMU.

You can get it here: https://github.com/JORGETECH/gmu/releases/download/v0.10.1-retrofw-opk/gmu-retrofw.opk

Be sure to uninstall the previous IPK before adding the OPK to the system; you can do that by pressing the Select button when the GMU icon is selected, then select the option "Delete GMU" and press the X button.
