Translation Patches?
« on: April 08, 2012, 06:22:11 pm »
I dunno what I'm missing, but for some reason I can't get the Fire Emblem games to work in English. I downloaded both the gba and ips files and stuck them in the main GBA folder, but that didn't work. Then I thought maybe I need to put them both in a folder and that didn't work either. Help?

You need an ips patcher, I'd recommend lunar ips. its scarily easy to use. Just open lunar ips selct apply patch then choose Rom. Takes seconds. Remember to keep the original Rom backed up somewhere separate. For more info check out romhacking.net .the fire emblem gnaw your talking about is great except one of the main heroes is called Roy. Oh well not as bad as trevor in castlevania 3. Make sure you have the latest patch as I know that one isn't fully as title screen still has Japanese.
