Every time I see Alex Kidd, I have this instant reaction of wanting to yell out "BUT LOOK AT HOW COOL THAT GAME LOOKS!"
Annnnnnnnnnnnyway, speaking of Sega properties, I'm really surprised there hasn't been any sort of attempt at reviving Kid Chameleon. I bought that again I think a year ago and it still holds up as being pretty neat, even if it's pretty hard. I don't ever remember being blown away by the graphics or how the games movement felt, but there's just something awesome about transforming into so many different characters. I was also aware of Friday The 13th and Splatterhouse, even though I was never allowed to watch/play them at that age, but getting that hockey mask kind of filled that urge for me.
Look at how 90's cool that kid is! The only people that might rival him for coolness are the dudes in the Crossfire commercial, the guys on the cover of Rival Turf, and that early 90s Legomaniac kid (Zach?)
