N64 Emulation Open Pandora vs PSP
« on: January 23, 2015, 07:48:22 am »
Hi Guys,

Just thought I'd share this with whoever's interested in non-android portable N64 emulation:

PSP: http://forums.daedalusx64.com/compat.php
Open Pandora: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AkBB6e4g1lGtdGxzVjhfNnpiMXVfR3FoZWRndG5iQ3c&hl=en_GB#gid=0

Bear in mind the PSP came with a 333MHz MIPS processor w/ no L2 cache, w/NO physical Memory Management Unit and at most came with 56M(8M reserved for kernel) of 333Mhz DDR1 Ram:o

waste of time trying to emulate n64 using these devices!!
Just buy something faster, your android phone is probably better for emulating n64 than psp.

Here, but unfortunately only the TV edition is available and I don't think any more are going to be made. I'd try eBay or wait for the Pyra instead.

Damn. Says they're not in stock.

$143 for a Pandora classic is a steal! I'd probably jump on it even if it's a little under powered these days.
