MAME Sega Arcade

HI Guys,

I am currently running on a GPD XD and have the standard Mame program from Googe play that everyone uses.  I noticed it wont play any Sega Arcade roms such as Daytona USA.  It will play your usual ones however like Final Fight, Cadillacs & Dinosaurs for example but not Sega Arcade.  Is there something I am missing...do I need a separate Bios file for these?

You have to use the MAME cores on RetroArch and a newer romset. I have tried but cant them to work. I think it is because I was using the .139 MAME romset and those cores are actually the newer romsets.

If you want Daytona and some of the Sega Naomi board arcade games, most of those are on the Dreamcast which works OK on the GPD XD (better on the GPD XD+ I hear) using the Reicast emulator. It has been updated lately and is finicky but will play Daytona USA pretty well.
