Sent my 2 Atari LYNX II to McWill for LCD modding.

Like the Game Gear mod, absolutely fantastic. Razor sharp display.  8)

The kit is about 100?. He charges about 40? for the upgrade work.

Not cheap, but totally worth imho.

I sent him 2 minty GGs and 2 minty LYNX II. I'm really happy with the result. German quality work. This guy is really a genius. :)

As I mentioned in the other thread, can't wait for his upcoming Nomad and PCE GT/TE mods.

I already have a couple of LCD modded Nomads (with different displays). They're great but not perfect. That's what I expect from him. And think about the GT/TE with a perfect display. It has such a massive library of great games.  :o

Nothing beats playing on original hardware (with perfect displays).  8)

they do look minty especially these pics :) just curious, so what was the purpose for 2 of each (gg,lynx) LCD mods, did you decide to use 1 of each for regular use and hold the other 2 for collection?  i haven't been following the mcwill thread in a while.  does he mention any future project plans after nomad and turbo express are complete?

I have 2 units of most consoles. Just in case one will fail.  ;D

He just mentioned Nomad and GT/TE as his next projects. NGPC would be nice too, but I don't know if there is enough space in the case for a new LCD.

Well, Yoshi already had different colors in his independent jump and run debut back in 1995. I remember well, when I found the japanese import version in my mail box. I was ill :-[ and did not nothing else than playing that game for the whole week. What a jump and run milestone!
