Using .net application
« on: March 21, 2020, 08:38:33 am »
hi, ive tried to create my own application for the rg350 with c#. ive compiled to linux-arm as single file. ive created a opk file with openpackagecreator, but when ill try to start my opk ill get tons of errors. but the applications closed so quickly i cant read the whole output.
some errors are:
unable to open opk
unable to extract icon
...

how can i fix this and is there another tool to create opk files?

Well, the first thing that I notice is you compiled with linux-arm. The RG-350 uses a little-endian MIPS processor, so you will need to cross-compile for that architecture instead. I just so happen to have an updated toolchain built from tonyjih's latest buildroot: https://web.tresorit.com/l#G40NKV5FPYQ0zFfXOAYqlg.

As for making the OPK, there are scripts on a couple of different projects that demonstrate how to do this correctly: https://github.com/soarqin/RG350_pcsx4all/blob/master/make_opk.sh for example. Also, if you use Esoteric as your frontend, you can view the log output of the last run OPK and hopefully get some more insight from it.

There is no C# runtime in the rootfs. So C# apps are not possible.

I have asked this many times before but as you are new maybe you know... Do you know how to change the pcsx4all home folder name?  for example:
from .pcsx4all   to    .Tekken

I want to create multiple versions of pcsx4all for each game... So basically I want to have PCSX4ALL 50 times with the best 50 games

Kind of like this rough mock up below

Also amock up of how the home folder would look below

Memory cards are big enough to achieve this but I have no idea how :(

Can you or anyone else help ?
