My RG350 froze when enabling WiFi adapter (Scan for APs). I am using the latest 1.7.9.9R. Fresh flashed to a 32GB tf card. Double checked MD5, which matched.

I'm missing the 4x3 icon grill in the menus. The scaling makes everything looks kinda blurry where on 1.7.9.8 it was pixel perfect in the menus.

If you re-install a gmenu 4x3 theme, everything should come back to normal.

I got the wlan adapter and managed to connect using rogue connect just once. after i did both the rogue appstore and rogue update were unable to see my wireless connection despite rogue connect saying i was. So i disconnected and tried to reconnect and was never able to get it to work again.

Also, users should definately apply the latest update to rogue. The flickering problem mentioned by others did a number on my lcd that took quite a while to go away. the update fixes this issue.

Thanks for the tip !

I also noticed a drop in performances while playing doom on odamex. Many stutters and sound bugs

I updated from an older version of Rogue to the newest release and noticed I dont have the rogue app store and rogue connect is still labelled as GCW connect.  I saw the note on Github about deleting the .linker file, am I doing something wrong?

Is there an issue with Rogue?

I installed 1.7.9.9 then the 1.7.9.9r on my RG-350 and it's causing the screen to go weird. I flashed back to stock and I'm not getting any problems with the screen.

I am on 1.7.9.5. and no issues. Its stable, so no reason to upgrade for me.

I wanted the Rogue connect so I can just plug in my WiFi dongle and download emulators or other stuff So it has to be on the most recent versions of Rogue. I don?t think 1.7.9.5 has the Rogue Connect.

Before 1.7.9.9r some people had problems with rogue connect, and rogue store, but that was fixed in this version.
Do you have problems only in that apps, or all system?
Did you installed 1.7.9.9 in an empty sd card? There are problems when updating from stock firmware.

so i flashed 1.7.9.9r to a new sd card, everything booted properly but it wouldn't recognize the emulators and some of the games on my external sd card.  has something changed here that i am not accounting for?

Can any of you repeat these weird behaviors than I found?

Version: 1.7.9.9

1. Mad scrolling

Hi!

About the first one, that happen in the base FW version (usually) and it's a problem of the inputtest app, for that reason (And much others hehhee) rogue use RG350TEST, the input program you're using are legacy versions of GCWZERO ...

The second i can't reproduce.

Seems like you've installed BASE under Rogue (Maybe for the HDMI use).

Thanks. The first one was minor, but good that we are aware of it. Nice!

For the second one
* My setup:
   I has not made any changes as of the HDMI functionality. Only updated the 1.7.9.8 to 1.7.9.9 with the update opk.
* Reproduce:
   Have you (1) waiting for the timeout to turn of the screen, and then (2) adjust the brightnes ("Power" + "Volume +") before you push the power (as it ment to)?

Confirmes the second one, the Rogue team known this bug, if you press power again you can use the stick normally

I think the link on the first post for Update firmware 1.7.9.9Z needs amending as it's still pointing to 1.7.9.9R

https://github.com/Ninoh-FOX/RG350-ROGUE-CFW/releases/tag/1.7.9.9Z

Will be giving this a try as soon as my replacement sdcard arrives  :)

Hello, guys. Murat Erdem made a tutorial on Youtube showing how to install Rogue FW on RG350M. He made a custom vmlinuz.bin with the Display Drivers for the RG350M. It's only replace that file after flashing the latest ROGUE image (1.7.9.9Z) and you're done. Maybe it can be made official by the Dev Team.

The only issue I have is event log showing a lot of warnings about cpu scaling:

failed to open "sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/scaling_max_freq": no such file or directory
failed to open "sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/scaling_min_freq": no such file or directory

I tried to create those folders with no success, maybe the DEV could fix it someday.

Thanks for the hard work and I hpe to see the RG350M supported soon
