On baidu boards - it is written as 4760B for main processor.
How come it is now a Dual Core 528MHz processor?

The RS-97 was always advertised that way, and so is the RG-300 : the ingenic JZ4760(B) has a main mips32 cpu and a VPU.
They consider the VPU to be a second general purpose processor therefore according to their insane logic it's the same as a Dual core processor.

..Which is very far from the truth of course, not to mention said VPU is poorly documented.

Better wait for the RG-350 with full PS button layout (L1, L2, R1, R2) and form factor like the Nintendo Switch 8)
Pics?

The music they used for the trailer, anyone know what game it's from?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XD6LV7Ya8YY

It's on the tip of my tongue and annoying the heck out of me.

Can you at least screen cap a picture of the full device so we can see the shape?

I bought one from Amazon and when it arrived it did not work (Yes the battery had power), took out the battery and tried to remove Internal SD Card then one gold pin/leg and one side of the SD Card holder also came out with the Card (Meaning it was broken), as i had to remove the sticker from the SD Card and Holder it was not worth sending it back.

Ordered another one from Amazon but also had gone up in Price by ?10.00, This on rolled up today and works out of the Box, Have not touched the Internal SD Card this time and have just copied my roms over from USB, Which worked pretty well.

I've only setup/Copied/Config it so far but did test some games/emulators and all seem to work great, On Amazon it states IPS Display but i really don't think it is.

Also edited files inside GMenu to get rid of some apps having chinese text.

P.S. That ?10.00 should be a Pound Sign, Not sure why this site don't like GBP Sign?

I'd love if this device had the jz4770 chip instead of the RG350 with it's ridiculous Xbox layout.

The RG-300 feels pretty good in my ~75th percentile western male hands, but it's still not big enough!

From the blown-up marketing images I was expecting something original DMG-sized, but the RG300 is actually slightly smaller than a gameboy pocket. The RG300 is slightly shorter, with roughly the same depth and width. I suppose I could have checked the product dimensions, but it wouldn't have really changed my purchase decision either way. The device is pretty good for fast games, but it still wobbles in my hands for intense shmups as the grip area isn't big enough.

I'd love if this device had the jz4770 chip instead of the RG350 with it's ridiculous Xbox layout.

So as long as we're spitballing good-but-still-achievable Ingenic devices, here's mine:

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
- Portrait orientation
- As close to original DMG form factor/look as you can get without being N*nt*nd*'d - available in Play it Loud! red colorway, as well as classic grey.
- Comfortable good quality L and R shoulder buttons, with fingers primarily resting on these buttons
    - L2 and R2 should be present but should be really small and non 'primary' buttons. Should not interfere with L and R.
-If you must include analog sticks, they should be in the NON-PRIMARY locations (Playstation style), and should be as small and out of the way as possible. The slide pads from the RS-97 pro would fit my criteria, as would the trackpoint-style nub on the n3ds. I don't like Vita style sticks since they stick out too far.
- 60 hz Vsync RGB H- or V- Stripe IPS/VA family at native 320x240, no weird subpixel crap
- JZ4770 or JZ4780 CPU,
- Dual SD card setup like RS-97 family etc, (internal OS on user-removable card, not soldered raw flash)
Price: Total price shipped to US should be equal to or under $100. If they cheap out with a TN panel it would need to be closer to ~$60, and they should use a socket with standard pinout so that swaps would be possible.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

In case it's not clear, I find the RG-350 uninteresting as currently demonstrated and do not intend to purchase it. I don't like the ergonomics. Since they've presumably already fabbed the case molds (=$$$$$), ergonomics are the one thing I would not expect them to be able to fix at this stage.

I look forward to the manufacturer re-using this working PCB netlist for a handheld that more closely meets mine and others' preference for a RETRO handheld.
