How's the input lag on this one?
« on: October 23, 2020, 04:30:08 am »
I previously purchased a JXD S7800B 7 years ago, but I wasn't a fan of it because of the input lag hindering gameplay. Play a lot of action games and input lag will put you at an obvious disadvantage by not letting you react in time.

I think emulation itself always has a little bit of input lag, but bad screens add extra lag on top of that to make it even worse.

I have not experienced any noticeable lag with any of the emulators I have tried, and I've played a lot of arcades with this console. I woudn't worry in that sense. I've heard lag is a problem associated to Android, so maybe that's the reason for your bad experience.

It wouldn't surprise me if Android-based consoles had more input lag than linux-based consoles. Just an assumption though.

Does anyone have the data on which has less input lag: PS1 on RG350M vs PS1 on Vita?
I know for a fact that PS1 on Vita has input lag so it would be hilarious if RG350M was more responsive than official hardware.
