Dual analog controls for Doom

I'm running Doom on my RG350 through prboom+. I figure this was built for the gcw0 and has no R analog support only L analog. Yet I play freedoom and it starts out the box with strafe enabled to the R analog. I also tried prboom and choclatedoom.
Is anyone working on a Dingux doom engine to support the RG350's dual analogs? Or am I missing how to map it to prboom+? I need this so bad.

Use Odamex:

It's just the oda_freedoom.opk with freedoom removed and a launcher script added. All buttons work once mapped.

Thank you. This solved the issue. Now do you know of a way to run the sigil.wad from this. I know sigil requires having a doom.wad installed, i have them in the same folder. Is this only possible with gzdoom?
