i think the screen looks great and if it can play ps1 its got to have some horse power under the hood just imagine we can harnes't that power and get native dingoo stuff to be back compatible and open dingux a winner all round seems to have a camera on front and back as well.

total cost was ?68

Well I emailed the makers of this device to find out what CPU and ram it has but never got an answer why they haven't said in the specs is strange but like you said I reckon its a 1Ghz Jz4770 but might only have 128 ram 256 tops

The PS1 emulator might be the same one that was on the GCW Zero original firmware (the Linux 2.6 or whatever). Although it does run PS1 games they don't run that well.

For ?68 it looks like it could be a good deal though, depending on how well the stock emulators perform and if they are improved/replaced at all. If OD gets ported onto this then I will probably get one instead of a Zero as the price tag is becoming hard to justify.

Tons of other old laptops and tablets.....

Yea I hope I get it soon the way I see it is its only gonna get popular if more people support and buy it the more buy it the better chance someone ports open dingux over well that's the way I see it.

They must of know to use a chip that supports open dingux so the console can be a success I am sure they know what they were doing if they got the looks write they would of got the internals write too.

Thanks for taking the bullet.  Looking forward to your review.  I'd like to know if that joystick has a thumb indentation and how it works.  It looks perfect for fighting games but I can't really tell in the videos since it's never used.

Interesting.... my next question will be can have Dingux ported to it.... or will no one touch it as the GCW Zero is now about....

I love my Dingoo, I think all the updated emulators for Native FW are awesome... I just like the simple but effective GUI

That's because it has a GPU.
