Hey guys, here are videos that I found of the Gemei X760+ LE (very fit for my 100th post here on the forum =D).

Emulation looks smooth. No scaling issue for Neo Geo. Still not interested though. Waiting for A380 reviews. I like small and pocketable over large Psp clones.

I'm confused, is this old or new? I thought the X760+ came out before the Dingoo A320 and that the A320 was essentially the same hardware in a different case, meaning that apps should be compatible?

Also, what's this? It's also called a Gemei X760+ but looks different, missing some buttons:

The old one is the Gemei X760+, this is the Gemei X760+ LE.
Seems like they thought there wasn't enough confusion regarding the A330, and wanted to take it to the next level.

I think I've officially had enough! :)

- Ridiculous naming conventions
- Lack of support and software/firmware updates
- Too many devices being released all doing the same thing

I really want an update for my A320 and so far nothing is measuring up. :'(

Yep, that's what I want. I thought it would have been simple.

My biggest requirement would be an increase in CPU speed whilst still maintaining compatibility with existing A320 software. That's the deal breaker for me, we all know that these PMP companies aren't going to provide software updates so we have to rely on the good work of the community, and the A320 has the best software library in my opinion.

I bought this yesterday through the shop from the gemeitech website. You can find it at ownta too. I'll let you guys know how it is when I get it. They said shipping takes 15 to 30 days, but others from australia said they had fast shipping so I could see it sooner.

My X760+ LE arrived today. It's awesome! The screen is big, bright and clear. The sound is great and I'm filling it up with my GBA and SNES roms now to test out the emulation. Maybe I'll upload some pics if anyone is interested.

Here are some photos I took. Sorry if some are a bit blurry or a little dark. I'll make a video of some emulators if anyone wants to tell me what games to try out. I knows Secret of Mana has some transparency issues, Terranigma makes the console freeze and it needs to be reset.

Wow, looks pretty nice actually. I wonder if the included emulators are compatible with the Gemei A330 (they use similar hardware, right?)
Are all the buttons on the bottom functional? Does TV out use component for the emulators?
Lastly, it may be an optical illusion, but that unit looks downright HUGE. Do you have anything you could compare it to for scale? A PSP? A320?

Yes all the buttons across the bottom work. I don't have any TV out cables so I can't test any of that and the manual is in Chinese unfortunately so I can't read it. :P It's about the size of a PSP, but the only thing I have to compare it with is my DS lite. So here are the pics.

It does look pretty nice, thanks for sharing.

What emulators does it have and do they run smoothly? Is the sound in sync with the game? It basically looks like a beefed up GA330, the emulators look the same.

Ah, functional buttons means it would have different emulators. An older unit like the A330 has to use key combo shortcuts for those functions. So even if the supplied emulators were better, the hardware compatible, and the OS unchanged we wouldn't be able to access the menu... Unless they didn't remove the old shortcuts. Can you access emulator menus by pressing START+SELECT still?
They also probably didn't give TV-out cables because of the confusion the last ones generated. The TV-out jack didn't support audio, which confused the heck out of users since the emulators used only one of the three supplied prongs to connect to the TV. The other two prongs were used for video playback, but people were trying to get sound out of them.

...and of course you only have a DS Lite, it's the only unit I don't have on-hand to look at.  :P

haha Well the DS lite is a fraction bigger than my htc desire. The screen is the almost exact size of my girlfriends htc wildfire. Also It's a little bit bigger than my PS3 controller. Hope that puts it into perspective. Pressing start + select doesn't do anything. The second button under the screen takes me to the emulators though.

The sound so far has been perfect except for the MD emulator. Sonic 2 and 3 run a little slow on that. Metal Slug works fine with  the MVS emulator. CPS1 and 2 are pretty much flawless so far. I haven't tried any NES games yet and SNES is a kind of hit and miss with most games I've tried.

The actual handheld is pretty good, the only sort of issues I have had are the down, right and A buttons squeak when pressed which can get a little annoying. Anyone know how to solve that?

Maybe you could check if Gemei A330 apps works, for example: http://www.harteex.com/files/SameGoo1.21-ga330.zip

About the buttons squeaking, that will probably fix itself with more usage.

The app works in a sense. The picture doesn't quite fit the screen and there are 3 images of the same thing. I can still play, but it's hard to see things. The same happens when I try emulators from the a330 too except they freeze the console.

Does this have two player functionality?

Strange that the sound plays fine given that it appears to be running the same hardware as the GA330.
