Main partition with new CFW on SD Card is still blocked in WIN7. Some people don't have win 10 or linux. Can you fix it?

I've never checked to see if my BittBoy is compatible with the latest CFW (v3.2 Beta) but I prepared some cards because two new BittBoy consoles are coming my way in the next couple of weeks.
After preparing those said ones, I decided to pop one in my older BittBoy just to see that the CFW boots great.
I began playing with it. Unfortunately, the only roms I could transfer were the old ones, from the old microSD (GB, GBC and NES).
Now here is the problem: the NES and GB roms play as good as expected, but I am no longer able to save. I've saved once in the GB emulator but that's about it. Now it seems like this process is corrupted for both GB and NES. With the NES emulator I basically receive a "can not save" type of message.
If it is of any importance, I used the MiniTool Partition Wizard to reclaim the card's space and I dragged the space bar until the very end, not leaving 1 byte unclaimed.
Is this a reason for saving failure?
Have I flashed the wrong CFW?

Thank you!

LE: Nevermind! I did it again (the flashing process minus the partitioning) and now it works.  Thanks for the CFW. Great work!

Thanks! Any chance for a changelog without having to download the archive?

Once again: nevermind! The changelog is in the main post. Thank you Jutleys!

Seems like the SNES emulator is a proof of concept rather than a working emulator. You can not set keys and the triggers can never be used. It baffles me that, from the tens of videos showcasing the CFW, nobody seemed to think this is a very important information.

In my opinion Bittboy is only good for GameBoy(partially Advance because bad performance/compability)/GameGear/SMS/Mega Drive.
There are not much buttons and a combo ist not very good during gameplay.
My Handhelds: PSP Vita, PSP (1000), New 3DS, NDS lite, GB SP (without Backlight), LCL GameBoy (RPI3A+ inside), GPD XD (non-Plus) and a RS-97 with RetroFW 1.2 (3.0).

Favorite: LCL GameBoy

This is beta test images its not a official release just yet emulators are being improved etc.

And it is a great CFW right now. I bought two more devices, for a total of three, only because of your and others work.

I'll keep an eye on the changelogs.

If I may... I would like to suggest another thing, beside the obvious SNES key reconfiguration: the possibility to opt for a permanent battery status in the corner of the screen or a warning if it gets low (if possible and ain't too much of a trouble, of course).

Thank you!

I forgot about GameGear. Thanks for reminding me!
GBA is great for puzzle and turn based strategies games. I'm not going to complain at all. By the time I finish the games this device is able to play decently, a device the same size would be much more capable. My OCD is fine with not being able to play 10.000 games but only 5.000 :) right now.

Ok tested V3.3 CFW, Problems so far:

ROTT audio is really naffed up.
HHexen does not full screen, black boarder at the bottom.
KOF is running a tad slow.
GBA Left and Right triggers (B and Top Turbo Button on Bittboy) are the wrong way around and no way to configer in emulator as the only option is back?, this problem has happened since v1.
Wolf3D will not work with full game files, just drops back to gmenu.
Quake does not work with full game paks, again drops back to gmenu.
Gambatte does not save settings.

And i'm wishing for Atari Lynx (Handy) Emulator and Neo Geo Pocket (Race) Emulator to be added to this firmware.

Hope that helps beta test for you all.

Thanks for all the work, guys! Do you think it's possible to add a C=64 and a ZX Spectrum emulator too? I guess with the limited input options the virtual keyboards will be a challenge, mostly for the ZX Speccy, but this would make the "whole '80-90ies in your pocket" feeling complete.

@fakk3, if memory serves me correctly, you probably don't need to expand the main partition immediately. You get about 2 gigabytes of free space on that partition, if you leave it unexpanded. This is plenty of space for hundreds or possibly even thousands of games.

The main partition file system type is fat32, so it's surprising that you can't see it in Windows 7. If you can see the folder under Windows 7, you should be able to write to it.

Alternatively, if you know someone who has access to an Ubuntu machine, the 3 mounts should automatically show up when you insert the sd card into the sd card slot.

Good luck!

@Jutleys, great job so far!

I like the mame emulator, but I noticed that a number of the MAME portrait orientation games have the bottom cut off. These include Pacman, Ms. pacman. Also, Loderunner is missing a bit of the bottom, even though it's a landscape oriented game.

Interestingly, if I choose the screen rotate option for the Pacman/Ms. Pacman games, the game displays and plays fine, but the screen is rotated clockwise by 90 degrees, so it's a bit awkward to play.

Do you know how to work around or resolve this issue?

The SMS emulator (Dingux SMS_SDL) creates unneeded .bmp screenshots when pressing certain buttons. I ended up with eight of those after playing Alladin for haf an hour or so. Also, another combination, during gameplay, brings up the emulator's menu, without pressing the R button.

Thank you, Jutleys! Is there any way to update the CFW without losing my saves?
