Looks like Razer is considering making a portable handheld system.

I'm interested!!

I really wanted that Razer game tablet but it was sooooo expensive. I hope they will look at what GPD Win did and make their own competitor.  It will show that there is demand out there for portable windows based gaming.

However, since they acquired NextBit Robin I'm starting to worry that their handheld could be running android, which wouldn't be big news at all.

I hope it is window based.  Give GPD some competition.  Maybe even early release.

Windows is a must, until they make a huge upgrade on XD no reason for a new device.

It's Razer, expect overpriced trash. I'm betting on a Rockchip SoC, Android with a terrible skin on it, and tiny storage.

well if they can do snapdragon 835 or kirin 970.  I wouldn't mind paying a premium for it.

I wonder if they will go for WIN10 running on the 835 thing.  So Android for smartphone functions, and then WIN10 emulation for gaming.

That would be great, and only way id get it... Until something comes out that blows the XD away no reason for Android gaming device. The games haven't progressed enough.

I don't think that an ARM phone SoC emulating x86 is going to be great for gaming performance...
