Wow, that looks like a bargain!  I could get my mum one of these to play solitaire on, as she likes that on my iPod Touch.

Also I like the fact that the specs include "Extras: Gravity" as too many of the things I buy these days keep floating off into space.

What would be a good Android solitaire app that would play well on a screen that size?

I've found a review of a tab with the same specifics of the JXD S18 called Skypad Pocket, here's the video.

This video has nothing with JXD S18. Even processor is different. Only screen is same size, nothing else.

Some questions:
Does google market work and is it the english market?
What about the usb port? Can you transfer files?

got mine today finally :D
what i can say is that the touch screen is dual touch, but only for zooming and the like as the two touch points go way off when you use two fingers (ill make a video demonstration if you want).

but i still believe in usb host, and maybe even tv out (will open it up later to see if the two headphone jacks are really identical)

weird... seems we may be able to play multitouch games after all... tested robot unicorn attack and even though the debug option to display the touch points clearly showed them off i could press jump and dash at the same time :)

Well mine just arrived, Willgoo forgot to include the 4gb MicroSD though....

Have to say I'm really surprised, especially with the screen. It seems a lot more responsive than the one on my JXD S601, you can actually use it with fingers like a capacitive screen for general navigation instead of using a stylus. It's also clear and bright, definite thumbs up in that department.

It's actually much better than I expected, apart from the usual rattling buttons it seems really well built too. I would have preferred a home button but then it's for my daughter not me, she won't notice!

Downloading Dead Trigger at the moment just to see if it runs! EDIT: Bah, no external storage so can't download the extra data. That 4gb card would have been handy...

I have heard that there is some bug related with some apps that dissappear after a reboot. I don't have this device, so cannot test it, but maybe I can make a clean ROM with a better google play, chinese stuff (if any) deleted, and the bug of "missing apps after a reboot" fixed. To check if this bug is present just install Samurai 2 apk if you have the chance, and then reboot device. If app is no longer in the list of apps after the reboot, then the bug is present. As I say, it's only a guess based on my knowledge of JXD ICS firmwares, that all of them include that bug. But maybe it's not present here.

By the way, I have found firmware here, and what it seems the content of the internal memory:
