http://jxd.hk/products.asp?id=625&selectclassid=009008
a small 4.3 inch tablet with nowadays regular android specs.
two-point resistive touch, no otg and no tv-out.
but what really stunned me is the price... i exchanged a few emails with jxd and the said that the price will be as low as $30! (plus shipping)
for that price it have the potential to be a popular product i think, for everyone who wants to try android out before buying a big tablet or for people who like the small design (like me, hehe)

willgoo, can you sell these? pretty please? :3
Handhelds:

Wow, that looks like a bargain!  I could get my mum one of these to play solitaire on, as she likes that on my iPod Touch.

Also I like the fact that the specs include "Extras: Gravity" as too many of the things I buy these days keep floating off into space.

Thanks for the tip.  I was thinking about getting it from DealExtreme, who I have used before, but it's good to know about other places to buy gizmos like this.

Great, I look forward to seeing what you think of it.  I almost bought one myself but am having doubts about how well apps will display on such a low res screen.  The standard res  of a small screen is apparently defined as 480 x 320 for Android, so there's a possibility that the top and bottom of apps may be cut off if they are fixed at that res.

Well my experience from the jxd s601 (which i sold) tells me that hardly any app has problems with that (none i tried) :)
I also like the fact that it seems to hide the status bar in games by default.

That's encouraging news, thanks.  As long as solitaire is playable, I think it will be worth getting one!  :-)

I'm looking forward to your reviews.  It looks like an android version of an iPod Touch. It really strange that no other company has tried this before now.

Really interested to hear people's opinions of this. I've been looking for a small tablet for my daughter to watch cartoons and anime on. It needs to be cheap and robust so it looks like this fits the bill at ?33 delivered.

Really want to know how responsive the screen is and whether it would survive a child using it....... She's always pestering us for our (expensive) phones so this could potentially save us a fortune!
Handhelds:

PC:
Medion Erazer, Toshiba Z20t, Dell Mini 9, Psion 5MX
Tons of other old laptops and tablets.....

Nice little device. I'm considering getting the S18, but I'll wait for the reviews first. The size doesn't bother me, my cell phone is the tiny Motorola Flipout with a 2.8" screen, but I love it. I need to upgrade to an iphone in December and I'm going to miss the Filpout.

I think typing works better as the device gets smaller. I have a NOVO7 Paladin and I hate typing on that. It's too hard to hold with both hands and type with your thumbs. If everything works on it, the S18 could be perfect for me.
