In other news...


The PS4 Slim that SONY originally denied existence of was also 'finally' revealed / unveiled.



PS4 Slim is replacing the current PS4 that is virtually 3 years old...AND apparently, all PS4s will be HDR capable via firmware soon.

I think people will get the NEO rather than the Slim. Actually, I think PS4 sales will stall further and stay that way until the PRO is released in Nov.  Strange to announce it now and have to suffer sales declines for 2 months until it releases.

But aren't Microsoft doing it worse by risking a possible 14 month sales decline until Scorpio releases?

Really, is it 14 months.  I thought it would have been sooner than that.  That would be bad for current sales of the Xbox One.

Yeah, November next year is Microsoft's target release month. Plenty of time to save for it, lol...probably gonna cost an arm and a leg too, hehe  ;D

I was hoping it was going to have UHD Blu-Ray playback, as was going to be an excuse to upgrade from my trusty old PS3 :)
