No problems. Let me answer your questions in the same way
1) That's correct. The easiest way to find them is to google "Street Fighter Third Strike no cd mame" or something similar.
2) Also correct. It also just sits in the same folder as the .zip file (for Mame4Droid anyway. Dunno about FBA)
3) I'm not 100% sure on this. For example, Red Earth was called Warzard in Japan, and my .chd is called Warzard I think. If you use a certain place that's a "paradise for emulators" it will tell you what's needed for each rom. Be it bios, chd etc.
4) I've only used FBA once, but I noticed it lacked support for some Konami games I wanted, so I went with MAME4Droid... So I dunno if they're used for FBA to be honest.
5) OK, here's some images to help you. You HAVE to be in the game first for the options to appear. And if you have to do it again each time you play. Also, for some reason, when you have this setting on, it takes a while for the game to quit, so it's quicker to switch back to "safe" and then quit. Haha.
OK, so you have your CPS3 game on the list.
Then press SELECT and START at the same time and this menu will pop up. Scroll down to SPEED HACKS
Lastly, select the speed and go. These hacks also work on some other games that don't play smoothly with this emulator. Sometimes the hacks have a negative effect on sound and the like though. Note the last 2 options say (CPS3)... They work the best.
