Try installing the Stock kernel as per the instructions and let me know what speeds you have ?

I seriously suspect a new hardware revision of s7800B.

I wouldn't mind creating one for you, been using gimp for 8 years.

If you'd like to create one, I'll be happy to include it in the next update :-)

this is great I love CF , any chance of removing the TF upgrade fix added to it ? I don't wanna connect USB then use a batch tool and yadayadayada .... I'm at 1.0.8 and pretty happy but I do like customization ... I need this as my install space is full and need to have nand installed on ext SD .. much thanks I appreciate your efforts :)  I am assuming that it writes the disable SD update to the bios ??

Fortunately with the stock kernel i have the same speeds 300-1400 than with the stock firmware, I'm gonna try the rest of the overclocked kernels included to see if any of them are compatible

Nice work TS, Glad to see a stock speed kernel.
I have a question though, Someone told me there was a problem with the GPU governor on stock where it was disabling 2 of the GPU cores.. is this correct? and if so has this been corrected but left at stock speeds on the stock kernel you provide?

I've had trouble with video being a bit choppy like it's dropping frames EX: running at 18fps instead of say 24, but no studder or lag (stock firmware)
wondering if that could be the cause.

also if you're coming from a stock firmware wouldn't you want to do a restore instead of upgrade flash?

The Stock Kernel capped at 1,608 Mhz is untouched and is the exact kernel included in JXD's firmware.
Many of the governors are broken, and not all cores are triggered.

My advice, try locking speed @ 1,608 Mhz using "OnDemand" governor.

First, thanks for all the work done here, it's pretty cool :)

But sadly I've same problem, with OC kernel, stuck min/max at 1200 too. ( Tried 1800 and 1700 )

( BTW I had same problem with previous Supercharged version. )

Stock max is 1400 even with original 1.1.4 firmware

to confirm none of the overclocked kernels worked expcetp the stock one.

But the stock one goes to 1400 not higher it says it's 1600 maximun but can't reach that speed with set cpu though

I wouldn't mind creating one for you, been using gimp for 8 years.

If you'd like to create one, I'll be happy to include it in the next update :-)
Any particular colour scheme like white/red etc?
Also if anyone has any suggestions for a mascot on the cover please let me know.

Ah, Yes I had problem with scaling orignlally way back in 1.08, after I intalled CPU tuner and tweaked it I did'nt have problems with CPU scaling but someone had said it was the GPU govenor.
CPU Tuner does'nt have any settings for the GPU so I would'nt know.. So my question was about the GPU.. CPU is governor is all good for me.

Tried it. USB OTG Helper recognizes the connection of the drive and reports that it has mounted it, but using file\root explorer tells me the drive isn't mounted.
I've got a feeling that the path that it's pointing to has changed due to the changes in microSD and internal memory, so the explorers are leading me to a blank port.

basing on the stock kernel, is it possible to just increase the frequence of the gpu without touching the cpu?

with the stock kernel the gpu is at 400mhz isn't it?

i'm totaly noob in overclock on android

Download ROM Toolbox Lite from the playstore... with it you can download/install many custom boot animations.

TAN, I just installed v2.0, haven't played with it too much yet, but so far I'm loving the play store compatibility - excellent work!

Not sure what it's running at.. it's suppose to 533 if im not mistaken, it's a mali 400 but running at 533 probably due to die shrink and they rang some more speed out of it.
at least that's what I read on the rk3188 SoC.
