@
aprikh1 and @
alex_see,
Swapping
NAND and
Real SD Card is very easy in S7800B, you just need to edit
/etc/vold.fstab (as root with any file explore, I used ES File Explorer), look for the two lines uncommented (without # at the beginning) and where it says
/mnt/sdcard replace it by
/mnt/external_sd and make the contrary on the next line. That's all. You can also search in this forum with the
keywords editting vold.fstab or just
vold.fstab.
@
ruthan,
webclaw never has published a 16GB ROM.
16GB model is pretty new and there's no any 16GB published in this forum for this device yet. If someone said the opposite, he's wrong. As additional information, JXD neither has published its 16GB ROM, at least it's not here:
http://jxd.hk/download.asp?selectclassid=020001@
jamesensor, as
ruthan said, webclaw published some kernels (just the kernels), you can read more about that here:
http://boards.dingoonity.org/jxd-devices/the-fixed-stock-kernels/But ... if you read all the thread, you will noticed that webclaw's fixed kernels have some things like vsync 66Hz not correctly patched.
However, in my opinion user
Lujji made a good job compiling a new kernel with vsync patched, some audio noise fixed and compatible with T-models. You can download it from here,
http://yaa.im/2fb9afbec58f009fIf you're interested in flashing just the kernel, I recommend to follow
GRIM's instructions:
http://boards.dingoonity.org/jxd-devices/the-fixed-stock-kernels/msg115267/#msg115267As far as I know,
Lujji's and
webclaw's fixe kernel is "compatible" with all ROMS based on Jelly Bean 4.2.2 ROMS, for example Webclaw's rom. The device will turn on and it will work, there's no reason to be any problem, but nobody can assure you not to detect any unexpected issue, because as webclaw said, in his roms there are some hackjobs which affect kernel because his roms and most of S7800B include Kernel from Stock Rom, not a new kernel compiled from sources.
Regards.
