I personnally agree that currently S5600B seems more appealing to me (much more a portable IMHO).

even if you found 499 other people you'd still end up waiting because the machine isn't actually released yet. as soon as it is released you'll be able to buy 1 unit from all the usual websites.

It'd be a real shame to see this model canceled. I have no interest in the 7" model. I had planned to purchase 2 of the 5" b models though. Guess we have to wait and see.

The info I have is that the 5600 model is delayed, but JXD didn't tell me anything else. It's a shame if it is that way, since the 5600B seems more interesting to me than the s7300B. Well, I think i'll take this time to rest in developing roms and stuff, because the other device they released (s5300) is also a GP33003 which is not fine for developing.

It would be a damn shame if JXD dropped this. It's kind of the holy grail of portable emulator/gaming that many of us have been waiting for. Great form-factor, good specs, perfect size. The S7300 is far too bulky for even the most ludicrously large pockets (i.e. it's not exactly portable).

Still, if the demand is there, and the S7300 is a financial success, JXD is bound to come around.

Regardless, I'll be picking up a S7300B as soon as it's available.

The s7300 is pretty huge, but for couch-based gaming and not out-and-about gaming, it's not too bad I think... But ya, he s5600 is the ideal unit for me.

Just spoke with jxd on alibaba, the s5600 is indeed 'on hold until further notification' and the s7300 is still in production and should be released shortly.

NeoGeoX seems ok to me, but not worth the price... There are many other better, more capable devices out there that handle NeoGeo games without any problems (and also play all other kinds of EMU roms), so really I feel like they are just charging for the brand name.

You can get literally any device on willgoo for cheaper that can do muuuuuch more (let alone the gcwzero which is almost the same price-wise but blows it completely out of the water)
