New JXD device

JXDS5300

for now, there is no more info about this.

JXDS5300
5" screen with similar design to V5200
cpu monocore (probably sunplus)
Single stick
shoulder buttons L1, L2

the bad news, the processor is monocore (and sunplus... argh!)

This device appears to be an "upgraded" edition of JXDV5200

waiting for more info...

edited: i correct the info. i posted S5600 specs

Will be interesting to see.  However, with the Archos Gamepad being priced at $150 for a Dual Core CPU and a quad core Mali-400, the price for this JXD better be LOW.

No hard differences respect S5100 and is not possible create optimiced custom roms for Sunplus CPU.

GP33003 (ARM Cortex A8 1GMHz CPU, POWERVR SGX531 GPU)

so its just like a 602 , but with a bigger higher res screen thats also capacitive
it does mention 256MB Virtual memory, wonder how much of a difference that would make.

There are no visible L2 and R2 buttons, and there's just one analog stick, someone should rename the thread.

Watch the image of you and on the official site:

http://www.jxd.hk/products.asp?id=626&selectclassid=009006

TRIANGLE,CIRCLE,X,SQUARE buttons and ONE stick. But in the description you can read: "Joysticks, ABXY"
I think it's an image of the old-fashioned V5200 and not the new device.

By the way I don't understand the reason why JXD continous the V5200 series and not the S5110 which better looking and newer concept.

Hmmm, on the official product page the OS is listed as Android 4.1.1, but on the Fall and Winter 2012 catalog PDF released here http://blog.thinkteletronics.com/?p=522 it's listed as Android 4.0. Perhaps it ships with ICS, but supports Jelly Bean?

I agree, though it's probably a similar update to the S601's S602 revision.

the image i posted correspond of an image i found related with this info.

few days ago, JXD release news about their products, and final info such images.

i'll update the first post with these images, to avoid confusions.

and about V5200, i think is the best device, if we talk about buttons, controls and quality of the device (exterior)
the main problem is his soc, and the 256MB RAM, but this new is a "upgrade" of V5200

really, if this device have the same quality than V5200, then is a very good device that can give a good feeling playing games.
