JXD S7800B downgrade firmware from 1.0.9 back to 1.0.8

Hello , I would like to downgrade my JXD S7800B from 1.0.9 to the stock 1.0.8 FW can I do this via SD card with a 1.0.8 image ? Can I go down or just up ? I would hate to brick my device. Wireless speeds are no good at all on 1.0.9 ... 1.0.8 I got 2.5MBs download and now i get max 115 Kbs ... Any info would be great thanks :)

try 1.1.4 before you decide to go back to 1.08

I did see that JXD released a new image but did they not disable the TF card update with this FW ? So I can go up and down not just up ?

I believe they said something like that in firmware history.. not sure if that's the case or not
Seems silly cause it means you would'nt be able to SD flash update either I think.

In any event that still leaves flashing via usb cable.

One more question for you as you seem to have the answers. Im on 1.0.9 if i do a system restore will I revert to 1.0.8 or stay on the current version.

I added the 1.0.8 IMG to the root of my TF card ( Trans Flash ) some call SD. I successfully downgraded with no problems. My wireless speeds are still really slow and once I start to download anything it almost sucks all of the systems resources and halts the system ... This has never been the same ever since I restored from the factory install. I want to try the 1.4.1 overclocked version hosted on this site but I really don't like the disable TF updates its calming it does ...
EDIT: After a reboot my Wireless speeds are back up to speed !!! I am getting my 2MBs torrent downloads, I will stay at 1.0.8 and Very happy, system does not halt anymore wile downloading :) Also i am working with a SanDisk Extreme? microSDHC™/microSDXC™ UHS-I Card and it works great.
