Its nice to hear that everyone's console is turning up so we can get a good following of it like the yinlips

Was wondering if anyone as had success in using chainfire 3D, anyway I noticed GTA III works on the console with out but once you start playing the game is goes all glitchy... so I might see if chainfire can fix the problem,,,
Be nice if someone else could try aswell

EDIT well I installed chainfire 3D but it dont even show up like its installed dont know whats wrong there.......

are you using the different plug-ins? youtube search how to configure chainfire...

also you should setup settings per-app and launch the app from within chainfire it's self

from what I've noticed only *some* games work for it, and for the ones that work, you only see improvement by reduceing the quality of textures etc

I only find chainfire to be usefull as more of a compatiblity layer to use apps not meant to work with a mali gpu

Well it wont go that far, it installs but chainfire 3D aint in the list after install very strange, BTW I`m side loading the apk

I followed your directions but now it's stuck on the loading screen unless I connect it to my pc. then it only shows a black screen with the notification bar but won't let me do anything.

Any suggestions?

This is for the yinlips but I`m doing everything right - maybe I need to buy chainfire 3D from the market....

I'm having a problem with the market. When I go to "My Apps" there is only one there, no sign of FPSE or any of the others I've paid for.

I only really need to get FPSE as well as that's the emulator I'm lacking at the moment.

Any ideas?

that's really weird... are you logging into the market with the same google account?

search for fpse, do you see it? Does it show "purchased" by the price?

FPse shows up for me and we're running identical builds with identical build.prop files. You might want to clear out your market settings and start over.

Are you seeing protected apps at all? Search specifically for zenonia in the market. If it's not there, you're not seeing protected apps, if you do see it, but not your purchases... I'd lean towards incorrect/different credentials being used.

menu>settings>applications>manage applications>all>market>force stop & clear data

I'm still trying to figure this one out, I'm trying to match the build.prop up exactly with the xperia play and for everything else it's showing up

onlive has some flag in the buid.prop it's looking for that I can't pinpoint

I can't do a 1:1 copy because of the different hardware, I don't want to go much deeper like saying it's running the same chipset, that might throw other things off you don't want thrown off.

only thing I can think of is

ro.sf.lcd_density=120

changing to 240

I can set it higher, but that will screw with a lot of other stuff.

Guide to unlock s601 windows only

1. Update Firmware Office Rom
- Download JXD S601 update firmware
New firmware 800MHZ
Old firmware 600Mhz+Tv-Out
- Extrack with winrar or 7z.
- Copy update.zip and uImage_recovery to root sdcard.
- Turn off power and turn on (button Home+Menu) to recovery mode.
- Apply update form sdcard > button start > update.zip > button start
- Wipe data/factory reset > button start > yes -- delete all user data > button start
- Wipe cache partition > button start
- Wipe media partition > button start > yes -- delete all media data > button start
- reboot system now > button start

2. Root Rom
- Open S601
- Change language chinese to english. Find icon

> Icon "A" ( keyboard key) > top menu > English
- Setting usb debugging in menu > settings > applications > development > usb debugging
- Download - UnlockRoot form http://unlockroot.com/ and install in your pc and open unlockroot
- Put usb to computer and put mini usb to s601 and click root in program unlockroot

- Wait to end and restart
- Or use "Easy Tools" Select "0" for root

3. Remove pre-installed apps + overclock CPU
- Download Easy-Tools (12-04-2012)
- Extract zip file
- Open !START.exe and select to you want
- Fun with JXD s601

Changlog
- Change GameHub to ADW Launcher EX
- Add Root Explorer
- Add YouTube
- Add Zdbox (All-In-One toolbox)
- Add New qwerty.kl
- Add New bulid.prop
- Add Overclock 650Mhz - 1Ghz
- Add SetCPU and profile
- Add Adobe Flash 11
- Add custom number input between100-2000 [Mhz]
- Add Game Keyboard 1.62

PSX runs really well in general from what I've tested. Test Drive 5 also works really well, gonna test a bunch when I get home.

Has anybody played the following?
Symphony of the Night
Gran Turismo (1 & 2)
Alundra
Colin McRae
Silent Hill

N64 emulation seems a little patchy which is a shame as I'd much prefer N64 versions of some games (Ridge Racer, Resi2 etc.) purely to save space. Some are difficult to control without analogue too.
