im pretty sure it isnt just lack of demand but a simple mistake but why not have a crack and hope they honor the deal i guess.

I have a Wilgoo unit and so far I like it - firmware issues aside. I figure I'll give the second as a gift

Didn't really want one because of all the issues, but 47 dollars is just too good to pass up. Even if it ends up being a complete piece of crap, it wouldn't be a big deal.(assuming DX actually sends it)

Oh, came back to this forum today (first time in 1.5 years) and do see this super deal on DX.

Can anyone confirm if this is for real? I was just checking at their condition's page, and found this:

Pretty much standard.. pricing mistakes happen regularly online.
Most of the time they catch it before it ships, some times they dont.. and sometimes they catch it but still honor it.
occasionally they'll also try to negotiate a middle ground price... example they might offer you the unit close to their actual cost to keep the customer happy.. or they might offer a coupon or discount.. 10-20%.

I don't know how DX handles it.. this of course assuming the price is a mistake and not for real.
They may cancel and offer nothing.

If it is a price mistake, The more people who know about it, The more orders they get, The more likely they'll both 1: catch it and 2: not honor it.

If they only had a few orders they might honor a price mistake, if they have a bunch though it becomes cost prohibitive because at this low of a price im sure it's below cost and they're taking a loss... again assuming it's really not a clearance.

The op has done us all a service by letting us in on the deal, Frankly they could have not shared it and increased their chances of getting a unit (lower volume = more likely it will ship).

For the love of god no one post this on a deal site like fat wallet or slick deals or I guarantee you no one will get one if it's a pricing mistake.

Don't order an insane quantity like 50.. just order 1 and be happy if it goes thru.

And no one ask DX if the price is correct.

I ordered one earlier today. No one has canceled the order at DX and I've got my fingers crossed.

It only takes 1 person to kill the deal, if it's a pricing mistake.

I honestly don't know what to make of it, My first thought was it's a pricing mistake.. the price on
these has been up and down and crazy.. It's possible someone has a stock of these and just wants to unload them.
But..... Even if that's true the price is still to good for clearance.

Everyone just use your heads and let's wait and see.. usually takes DX several days to ship anyway.

Maybe they have fixed the superuser bug, lightleak, etc.. So these are old stock they are blowing out??

I doubt that's the case, but if it is, fine by me... the SU and lightleak problems are both very easy to fix...

I've purchased Arduino stuff from them several times over the last couple of years. I've never had a problem with them. They're a bit slow to ship and the items come from China/Hong Kong so that adds even more to the arrival time. Expect to wait a week or two to get anything you order.
