Looks like this board hasn't seen any action this month but since I just happened across it yesterday, I'll take a shot anyone still reads this. Long story short, I've had a 7800B for a couple years now and I think the last rom on it was the one people call "supercharged". I haven't used this device for a long time but decided to mess with it again and start with a new rom. Found this one and flashed it, applied the updates and began installing games. Love how fast it is and the device seems a lot better then I remember it, including the battery! So well done all, glad there's still interest so long after I gave up on it!
Now for the only problem I'm having: The touch screen is acting completely nuts. Often it will register a single touch as a swipe or even a pinch. While playing android games a touch or swipe will cause the game to zoom in and out at breakneck speeds and often open some menus as if it's touching through to the desktop. Generally after this happens a few times, I've found that the apex launcher will then crash. I've even had it do this while just on the desktop trying to move icons around. Not sure what the deal is and was unable to fix it with any of the usual android or apex options. I found that force closing apex will sometimes help, too bad I can't just remove it. Screen has been cleaned numerous times and does not seem to change anything with this behavior.
With that said, I decided to flash pogodancers rom and so far these problems have not returned though it is still a bit sensitive, but nothing like described above. Any ideas why lujji's rom is acting this way? I have an older s7800B number 01-201312-00335 and I went with the standard clocked rom to avoid heat issues or problems.
Any help appreciated and willing to try and flash again, otherwise I'll just stick with it as is.
UPDATE: Of course, 2 days after writing this I finally get to page 29 of the comments to find it's well known having it plugged in causes touch issues. Nevermind the problem above. Flashed back to this rom and toying with it now. Good stuff on both roms really! Good job pogo and lujji
