« on: December 13, 2018, 01:19:33 am »
Hey all,
Does anyone have one of these RS-07 Mini's / RS-12's yet?

Specs RS-12

Screen:3.0 TFT 320x240

CPU: JZ4725B mips 360 mhz

RAM: 32MB DDR2

Internal memory 512MB Nand

Battery: Replaceable

Li-Ion BLC-5C 1000mAh

Aprox 5HRS Playtime.

https://droidbox.co.uk/droix-coolbaby-rs-07-mini-arcade-multiplayer-emulator-portable-console.html which is ?39

It States it plays:  CP1. CP2, GBA, SFC, MD, FC systems which is fine, but is it the same hardware / firmware as the RS-97? or RS-07 ?  :-\ :o

This version from Tomtop is ?23 but states it only plays FC games
https://www.tomtop.com/p-v5526.html?usource=lc&utm_source=Linkconnector&lctid=290445

All a little confusing, I am guessing the Tomtop version is a totally different device running a different OS

any help or info would be appreciated  :)

The description on the Droidbox page is for the RS-07, you can tell because it's listing the screen resolution and battery from the RS-07 rather than that "RS-07 Mini" or RS-12, and the price is far too low.

I think the specs should be 320x240 display, BL-5C battery, and then the rest of the specs are as with an RS-97.

The product on Tomtop is the "XX in 1" model, so will be just like any of those cheap nes systems you can get, such as the RS-90.

Also for information for others (as it's buried within the larger RS-07 thread, there's my notes on the RS-12 and RS-07 Mini.

Some other videos I've found:

Hey Jutley
Where do you buy them where they are in stock? Preferably UK stock or fast china post and not the 60 day slow boat method  ;D

I ordered one of the mini minis on Aliexpress but the seller hasn't shipped yet.

Hi VanZan,

1) Have you got the link to the seller?
2) Is it the legit version or the fake one with 360 nes / fc games?

Thanks

I cancelled the order because it was taking so long. Also I see droidbox are selling them and I saw a message by gameblabla on Discord that they probably can't take a CFW. Jutley is getting one today apparently and will report his findings. Depending on that I might re-order from Droidbox.

For those who are interested, I took mine on Wish.
https://www.wish.com/product/5c0f54ab7fc54475b3c378d4

If you are a regular customer at Wish, it's not bad you can receive -50% via the android application, I got it for 26 euros shipping included. (I'm in France, I do not know if it's international)

Or available at Funnyplaying.
https://funnyplaying.com/collections/super-nintendo/products/retro-mini-doubles

36euros free shipping.

I imagine this will be the case, functionally it looks like the RS-90.

Thanks for that... I think that is the "fake / nes games only" version, thats the only one I could find.. good job you cancelled ;)

:o OH GUTTED.... I thought the RS-90 was dubbed "unhackable" as there was no way to dump the rom or do something needed to hack it ? Maybe I just imagined it hahaha

EDIT: Read here it was unhackable - http://boards.dingoonity.org/ingenic-jz4760-devices/new-revo-k101-mini-in-the-wild/msg182590/#msg182590

Well fingers crossed they can do something with it... If the stock firmware runs CPS1, CPS2 and NeoGeo titles well then I might just get one ;)  PAH Who am i kidding, I will get one for the collection anyway  ;D

Jutley, Thank you for the update buddy, updates and information provided by the Dev's is always much appreciated
