Hi guys, the feeling with RS-97 is unique, I took the new 2018 white version, I wondered what software version to install for a good performance possibly via the external sd card without removing the whole device (as in video) thanks for the attention, and a super thanks to those who always try to improve the software of this stupendous devise! <3

anybody know how to stop the green battery showing up

like if the battery is low and i turn it on it will just show the green battery on the screen even if i reset the device or take battery out

only way to stop it is to leave the dvice till it runs out it can take awhile or charge it but that can also take ages for the green battery to go away

Hello everyone,

Love the community you?ve built up here. It inspired me to purchase this 16gb ?pro? unit from Funny Gaming, which seems to come pre-loaded with OpenDingUX.

https://funnyplaying.com/collections/game-boy-advance/products/k101-pro-retro-game-console-gba-gbc-gb-sega-nes-sfc-neogeo-fully-compatible

Their site also shares this:

Based on the vendor, who seems to have a solid working relationship with this community, and the gear listed and that chart, is there reason to believe this unit will actually ship from them with a fairly recent release pre-loaded? What do you guys think?

Have your received the unit? How does it run?

Lost in mail during labor outage related to postal service but Funnyplaying were very professional and gave a full refund after a long wait.

I started playing Final Fantasy 7 on RS97 and it was pretty smooth and no lags. But after a while - all my saved files just stopped loading. I mean You go to "LOAD GAME", you choose save slot, press X (or whatever) - and nothing happens, you can just start a new game, and make new saves - and they work! But all old saves - not working.

Have you guys ever met such a problem? I can imagine i was sometime trying to change some game setting like "show fps" - but then i tried all possible setting - and none of them changed this bug

UPD
SOLVED! Thanks gameblabla - it turned out that i changed bios settings!

Just a quick question.

Do the white RS-97 versions have the JZ4760 or JZ4760B?

I have been searching but couldn't find the information

Thanks

They can have both. I was trying to find out the same thing myself. it's a tossup what you will get unless the seller knows up front and says so.

If your lucky yes you will find one but both my white ones are JZ4760 only v1.0s & V2.1

I am in UK and contacted UK stores Droix shop and funnyplaying about the CPU in their white units.

Droix shop said the units are JZ4760B and I will receive a unit with this processor :),  however you still never know for certain what version companies send. Can you find out the CPU type from the device itself?

The promo code DRXRETRO15 still works btw.

The funnyplaying shop specs are listed JZ4760B but they can't guarantee that it must be JZ4760B, because they only know it when they remove it (whatever that means) but most of their current inventory is JZ4760B

Hope that helps someone after a JZ4760B unit.

Ive bought 2 x White from tomtop: https://www.tomtop.com/p-f1805.html

Both have come as Version 3.0 with JZ4760B Chips.

My question is, how high can these go, I seem to get stable PSX at 672, and have run some snes games at 690 with no issues after 30 mins of play.

I am assuming 642 is around the upper stable limit for all emus?
