Ive bought 2 x White from tomtop: https://www.tomtop.com/p-f1805.html

Both have come as Version 3.0 with JZ4760B Chips.

My question is, how high can these go, I seem to get stable PSX at 672, and have run some snes games at 690 with no issues after 30 mins of play.

I am assuming 642 is around the upper stable limit for all emus?

You just made my day. I just bought the same white one from tomtop hoping it had the B cpu and you just confirmed it.  let me know how fast both your machines top out at if you could.

690 seems to the limit in Gmenu. I get stable at this in snes and psx, ReGBA works fine at 672, not much need for extra in other emus i use

I just bought a second RS97. The console that arrived is a white V3.0 with the B revision CPU.
Strangely, this second console comes with what seems a matte screen protector, which is absent on the original V1.0 AUO screen.
Is it really a screen protector or is it the screen itself that is matte?

It's a protector of some poor quality. I've removed it and will replace with proper one that cannot be scratched so easily.
