Thanks for posting, in addition to being very portable it seems to be cool to pass the time.

I asked the official Powkiddy and he told me that this is the same system as the Q90, but for the price it is very expensive.

It's around the same price as the q90 right? Both around 5-10USD more expensive than the original pocketgo..

The R2 and L2 buttons make no difference, since the hardware is very poor.  In addition, they only serve as ornaments.

I really like the idea of an SP design as the screen is protected without a case which (combined with the small size) makes it ideal as a cheap gaming device you can throw in a bag or pocket. If the RS-90 had never received an OD port I'd probably have bought one of these. It gets bonus points for the generic battery and tool free access though!

Sounds crazy but 33 UK pounds just isn't a great deal for a device like that these days, a few years ago it would have been an amazing bargain.

I ordered one after discussing with the seller at Powkiddy's store on AliExpress. There is a good chance that this is another PocketGo clone just like the Q90. I'll put my PocketGo SD card (with MiyooCFW) in it to confirm upon reception.

If that's the case, it'd be a nice little cheap device with a cool form factor.

Yeah that's not good.

I've never owned an original Pocketgo (assumed they were Ingenic devices) and went straight for the Playgo/PG2 after having an RS97 for a while, do they all sound that bad with the awful screen tearing? I can put up with a certain amount of frameskip and lag but not games that look and sound like that.

I own some new bittboy and a original pocketgo unit and if they make one thing clear it is that their products are always heavily flawed. From hardware problems (faulty screens on the new bottboy's and missing leads to flash a new firmware) to software problems (closed source NxHope OS, screen tearing) there are always multiple things wrong with them. In my opinion the pocketgo is the best out of all these (including the Q90 and probably also the V90) as the build quality was really good (nice plastics, no brims from injection moulding, glass screen cover, good shoulder buttons) and with the community improved NxHope, screen tearing has become MUCH less noticeable.. When I see video's of the V90 IT seems to have horrible build quality, horrible shoulder buttons, the original screenteary NxHope OS, no glass screencover, and very questionable D-pad and buttons. I am very much looking forward to the review from Dingoonity users and their experiences

Spotted a (kinda, sorta) review of this, doesn't go into any detail (spends more time talking about preinstalled roms than anything useful) but at least there's more footage. Maybe a more knowledgeable channel will pick it up and do a proper review.

Thanks for the vi, and I agree.
I hope Taki takes a look at this, because I'm super interested in it :)

That's basically a PocketGo in a GBA SP form factor. Which is either a good or a bad thing depending on your personal bias. If you loathe any device that exhibits screen tearing, then it's not for you.

Personally I still love my PocketGo very much, it's a practical basic device that does an amazing job for $30 IMHO. The CFW alleviates the screen tearing (much less noticeable). I take it with me when I have the kids around, its light but sturdy, and also for quick pickup &  play sessions.

My first handheld ever was a silver GBA SP, so I fell for the V90, took the orange one, and I'll try to customize it with a Metroid theme. I've already cloned my PocketGo SD, first thing I do when I receive it is swap the SD  and turn it on ;D

Assume it's just an update to the regular Miyoo cfw 1.3.2 from that dev team (Steward Fu, Tony Jih, gameblala etc) and not a new firmware so to speak, the V90 is already compatible with the previous version(s):

I have the V90 and it is better than i expected. I changed to custom fimware straight away and so far i am very pleased with my purchase. I am only interested in some homebrew plus GB, GBC and pc engine, and in that regard it seems to work well. In my case it runs Wolf3d better than my RG300 Ips (less audio issues and better colours)
The screen is good with good viewing angles but it is not as good as the Ips RG300.
Also the build quality is not as bad as the Bitboy but not as good as the RG300, for the price i think it is a good buy.

Thanks for the mini-review. I'm still waiting for mine to arrive......shipping from China to the USA is exceptionally slow now.
