Perfect! Thank you!

1.0.4 had failed installing and now 1.0.5 failed too. But I downloaded 1.0.3 opk and installed it over the same 1.0.3 I had and then 1.0.5 worked flawlessly.

It cannot show non-English filename correctly, e.g. Chinese, Japanese.... Any way to fix it?

I know this, I tried one time that gmenu2x show Chi/Jpn characters, but for now....

NEW update with all last that the guys quote!!!

Changelogs 1.0.6:

1. Add the new keys combo for dis/enable the analog stick (POWER+L1), so the keys combos is the follow list:

- POWER = Screen on/off in gmenu2x.

- POWER+A = Change the resolution screen to fullscreen in hardware mode.

- POWER+B = switch analog stick to dpad.

- POWER+X = Screenshot capture.

- POWER+L1 = Dis/enable analog stick

- POWER+R1 = enable mode mouse (stick is cursor, L2&R2 the mouse buttons)

- POWER+VOL+ or VOL- = change the brightness screen

- POWER+UP or DOWN DPAD = change the sharpness screen

- POOWER+SELECT = kill aplication

- POWER+START = Reboot

2. Gmenu2x now support all characters of the WORLD!!

You may erase the file /media/data/.linker for that this has effect.

3. Update libs in system and kernel.

I like the 2nd one.

It?s the smoother font and for me at least the more appealing one. Also more readable.

- POWER+UP or DOWN DPAD = change the sharpness screen

This doesn't seem to do anything at all in my PG2, I tried it several times up and down and see no changes.
BTW, is there any chance you can fix the overpowered speaker through firmware?

Power+up or down changes sharpness on my PlayGo, however you need to press multiple times, the increments are a bit difficult to perceive, depending on system and game.

To me it seemed that the sharpness value changed after updating, but I managed to tweak it to my liking.

IMPORTAN!!! THE CFW NOT WORKS IN POCKETGO2 V2!!!

I don't have that model, so I don't know where the failure may be or what has changed

Changelogs 1.0.7:

-Gmenu2-

1. Update GMENU2x, now it shows the internal language of the game, if it has it, according to the selected language.

2. Add Korean language.

3. fixed some missing texts.

4. Optimized themes, now overwrites system icons too.

5. Changed multi-language fonts to a much more comfortable one to read.

IMPORTANT: You have to delete the file /media/data/.linker so that all the changes are overwritten, otherwise there will be no opks that lose the name.

-Sound-

1. Now the volume of the headphones is also saved.

2. the Master volume control is now accessible from the SOUND MIXER, it is no longer necessary to modify the speaker to lower the volume.

-System-

1. Fixed mapping of joystick emulation as dpad in versions 1.0.5 and 1.0.6

2. Optimized the clock of the GPU, now it is to the maximum recommended by the chip. (before 360Mhz, now 500Mhz)

3. Optimized the USB core, there will be no more random restarts when the console was disconnected from the computer.

You can see all the changes in the toolchain and kernel sections of my repositories

1.0.7 boots fine on my PocketGo2. I realize I made a mistake in my previous post. I don't have the updated PocketGo2. I have the first version. It's NOT the new one with the smooth white finish, the multicolor buttons and the upgraded analog stick. Sorry for the confusion.

Thank you Ninoh-FOX! The master volume works great.

A slight issue is that it's only created if we play a sound first, so any time we boot the device it's back at 100%.

Not sure if only my device but my sound is bit choppy sometimes, and there's always some background static noise when playing a game. Probably still due to that overpowered speaker.

PocketGo 2 V2 apparently uses the RG350 firmware now, so any updates and programs for RG350 should work on PocketGo 2 V2 (unless a program requires the second analogue stick to work normally).

PG2 V1 and V2 are easily distinguished by the reset switch on the bottom-right corner of the device beneath the speaker/power LEDs, or lack thereof in the original v1.

Thanks again for the continued Rogue firmware development, it's very much appreciated.

I jumped from v1.0.3 to v1.0.7 and the upgrade was successful.
On first boot after the upgrade there were some sound issues, but this was fixed by a reboot.

I just got a PocketGo2 Rev 2 (Has reset button + colored buttons). I'm confused about the available Firmware for this device. I installed the RG-350 BASE v1.5 231019 firmware which worked fine, but when I install any of the updates, it always fails. Anybody has any suggestions????

Did you try the Rogue firmware developed for RG 350?
https://boards.dingoonity.org/retro-game-350rg-350/rg350-'rogue'-cfw/

It seems like PocketGo2 v2 might need its own firmware that's forked from RG 350, or moded or something because PocketGo2 v2 doesn't have a second analogue or a wifi module.

Thanks for your response......I used the rg350-flasher-1.7.9.9R-2020-05-10.opk to do the update and it worked fine on my PocketGo2 (Rev2). It took a long time (30+ minutes) but it worked great. When I used the rg350-update-1.7.9.9-2020-04-25.opk update file it would install OK, but crash after the 1st reboot, then all subsequent reboots would crash.
