Most RS-97 "Retrogame" devices have 320x240 screen.
The PAP KIII Plus has 480x272 screen.
This means all that it is unlikely most games will work properly at 480x272.
If you want some "hackup jobs," I made a few here:https://mega.nz/#F!nJZzXY7J!c0JGj7f6jUZnFw5Wt4RcBA
I think this whole Ingenix platform is crap and really not worth more time/effort than simple hacks/recompiles. Too many handhelds, high prices, and not much improvement from one model to the next.
Anyway, this stuff is NOT thoroughly tested and just for my own amusement. They're just zip files, not ipk or other package-manager BS: just unzip them, place the folder where you like, and create the links yourself in the menu by pressing select. A little tedious, but far from rocket science.
EDIT: In case anyone find this in a search, the patched firmware these games/emus run on is linked below. This is not plug 'n play: you have to open the case to get the SD card out and it would be a good idea to look at the instructions and the contents of runmefirst.bat.
No idea if any of this stuff will work on the unmodified stock PAP KIII Plus; sorry I thought this was obvious..... https://boards.dingoonity.org/ingenic-jz4760-devices/universal-firmware-patcher-for-pap-kiii-plus-4-gb-16-gb-and-gopher-2/msg184725/#msg184725
