New to RS 97
« on: October 22, 2020, 02:36:26 pm »
Hello all, old hat with K3P but brand new to RS 97. Just installed custom firmware (retro cfw 2.0) on internal 32gb. I connect to usb and no partition showing up. Does the rs-97  block usb file transfer like the new 16gb K3P?

Did your RS97 ask if the usb was for file transfer or charging? Did your pc/mac recognise a usb drive being inserted? Most likely it is the cable: I would try another cable..

Changed the cable and no go. Then I remembered I.T. 101 and cut it off and turned it back on. Bingo! thanks.

Nice work! I have fun memories of this device: for me this was the first opensource handheld after the GPH handhelds. Did you also install the 'starter pack' and the 'repack games' as released on the github of RetroFW? They provide almost all emulators & games available in two neat packages...
