Does anyone know any new handhelds coming this year? or is rs 97 still regarded as the best succesor to gcw zero? If there is a better handheld, please correct me!

Only the RS-97 Pro It looks OK to be honest, BUT until the Developers get their hands on it we wont know really ;)

It might not be "new" but it is a new update to those Chinese ATGames ripoffs they sell on Aliexpress the MD-16.

This new model contains 2 changes too the console itself, a Micro SD Card Slot instead of a old full size one and Mini HDMI port in addition of AV out. For software there is new game select screen similar to the Ninitendo Classic style and it apparently has 8gig of storage, no idea if you can access it to swap ROMs though.

If anyone has the new model I wonder if this one runs Sega games at full speed, lets you change the default roms and has game saves and save states? Also if there is a way to switch between 3 and 6 button modes.

The design is cool but there has never been one with good software.

is there any video about it? the previous models can barely run megadrive, snes was really slow because of the cpu. If they changed the cpu maybe things can be better.

Speaking of megadrive based handhelds.  This mini arcade got released recently.  I ordered one but hasn't arrived yet.

I just ordered the old version a few days ago ( https://www.aliexpress.com/item/2018-Portable-3-inch-16-Bit-Handheld-Game-Console-Players-Build-in-100-Classic-Games-PVP/32927430757.html )
I wonder if i get new or old stock - not too bothered either way.

Btw does anyone know if the ATgames sound fix patch works on these clones since they have SD slots, or if the out of tune music is a problem at all?

My only grief with the cheap PXP3 consoles is how they have the same sound bug as the ATgames handhelds, which makes me think they are built on the same platform, but no way to fix the sound :(

I know it is not a new handheld, but I hope the GCW Zero becomes available again this year.
