Missing linux kernel dumps for Ingenic devices
« on: March 16, 2019, 08:54:14 pm »
While most of it got dumped, there are still a few ones missing.
I am looking for a binary dump of the kernel for the following devices :

X-Game 600 Games in One - Not dumped (Seems to use an internal sd card ?)
GameBox (JZ4755) - Not dumped (NAND ? Internal sd card ?)

PAP Gameta II JZ4760B 16GB version - Now dumped
PAP KIII Plus JZ4760B 16GB version - Dumped (See below)

These devices are very rare, which is why no one backed them up.

If you have any of those devices then please make a dump to it.
You need to disassemble them (very hard to do...) then take the internal sd card and back them up with Win32 Disk Imager.

Select a path for your firmware file and choose "Read".

You can decide to either send me the first 8MB of the firmware file or everything as a whole, either will matter.

Is this the Gameta one you need?

Yup, all pointers towards a JZ4760B, especially the 3000 Games mention (16GB, which implies a JZ4760B, all known JZ4760B revisions of the Gameta are 16GB.

Item arrived. Says PAP Gameta II Plus though (not sure if that's significant). I'll PM you the firmware later today. Oh the chip on it has JZ4760B written on it.

I sent the link to blackz. I was playing around with his firmware patcher and it nearly worked on the Gameta. I selected the option for Pap K3 16GB. I just could not get past the "tv-out" warning when the cfw boots up.

Hopefully it's an easy fix for blackz. I don't want to add to sauce's already extremely heavy workload. I'm in no rush as I've enough devices to play games on.

Hi, i have two PAP Gameta II, one it's Plus, (2 years Old) and today i put it on a CFW and works perfect.
The other it's old, not Plus, (more than 4 yearsold) and have JZ4755 inside, but don't have internal SD it's a hynix NAND.

I don't know how can i dump the kernel or anything. if i can and someone teach me i'll try to do it.
