Btw, as i may have said before, i've managed to make external controllers like the Wired switch or the stock ones work on the unit.
The only issue is that buttons are mapped differently accross all gamepads... Thus, Start on a switch controller will be mapped differently from the stock ones...
What should i do ? Just stick with the crappy ones ?

I think it makes more sense to support the shipped controllers for now. Users will be rather upset if they can't use the controller they bought with the machine. Especially if you're telling them that Nintendo Switch controllers are supported.

In the future you can see about adding configurable controllers ala RetroPie and support both the internal, Switch, and possibly generic USB controllers.

I am in paypal dispute with them, I not recommended you to buy from Tomtop.

He told me that it was sold without battery is not written in the description and give a technical mail for my firmware I'm still waiting for an answer for a week. (I ask for 50% refund to Paypal) 8)

Think you'll be alright if you do something like glue a little magnet on top.

I tried folding up some foil and wedging it in to fill the gap, but when I tried to charge it, I just got a "flashing red LED" inside the unit. I put the stock battery back in and the LED lit up in "solid green"

I have ordered another battery now, but I will try a magnet and see if it works and post back the results after the weekend.

Thanks for the tip :)

It was not the same problem me, I had a faulty firmware and suddenly I dismounted my arcade to format the micro SD and installed the basic firmaware find on the blog of jutleys.

Otherwise his video remains interesting.  ;)

So I finally switched my Retro Mini Arcade on.... The "volume wheel" has 2 settings "loud or off" :D

Anyone else have a volume wheel like that ?

Does anyone know how to access the 16GB Internal Storage?

I would like to rename the games in English.

Thanks

Thanks for that... Do you know if it is possible to connect it via USB to PC ?

EDIT: Just a thought, did you connecting via the controller USB Ports? In case they done a sneaky connection :D
I might have the cable but dont want to waste my time if its already been tried.

Already tried, the only solution is to open it and get the micro sd inside, it's easy enough.

I managed to make the 2 players mode working in PocketSNES, SMS Plus, FCEUX and FBA. It took me a while but we're getting there.
The only missing pieces are Picodrive, Temper and the most daunting, PCSX4ALL.

I have some ideas to improve performance for PCSX4ALL on the Retro Arcade Mini (for example, don't downscale resolutions like 512x240 used by Crash bandicoots games. Instead, crop 32 pixels and center it).
Also, i would need to support PS3/Switch/360 controllers for PCSX4ALL, so we can finally play Ape Escape properly.
