Yangliming New Retro Arcade Mini Machine

Does somebody have experience with this device?

It is equal to the RS97, but somehow the gg and sms emulator does not work. I also wonder why they removed all neo geo roms, because they seem to run fine.

Someone just posted this an hour ago:

https://boards.dingoonity.org/other-game-systems/meet-the-retro-mini-arcade/

Would be amazing if it could run sauce's "useless" Rs-97 firmware.

I have one here and it is a shame that they screwed it up on the last meter. The game menu has 3 sub sections:

Simulation Games
Transplant Games
TF Games

Simulation Games seem to be proper translated with Emulated Games, Transplant Games are Ported Games and TF Games, i assume is a link to the SD card.

Transplant Games are not translated into english, so you have a Chinese version of some silly ports (OpenGGS, Block Rage, The cheap game show "Car", Mr. Driller, Wolfenstein 3D, Hexen).

TF Games is probably a link to the SD card.

I'm not quite familiar with Dingoo, so i have no idea where i can find the config file in order to repair the links. The Gameboy and GBA Emulation is also as awful as on the RS97. Once the screen scrolls you see blocks on the right site.

Anyway the joystick and buttons are quite cool and the battery power is amazing. It lasts 2 hours and probably more.

Thanks mate :)

On topic: Neo Geo were the ones who copied this these type of designs. See below quote.

It seems like the NeoGeo mini is a copy of this guys idea and design which he made 2 years ago

Could you confirm whether it's Ingenic JZ47xx powered or not? Then I can move this post to the right place  8)

Yes it is the same device. Just in an arcade case and the dingo binaries do run fine, just without using the full screen.

From the boot logo of a fish and the firmware with images of games it would seem to be running the same firmware as the PAP KIII Plus.

Just as I thought, moved to Injenic JZ47xx Devices then.

I really want one of these. I've been following them since they first started appearing on AliExpress. I realize it's basically the tabletop version of the RS-97, but I really like my RS-97. Plus the joystick & gamepads seem like nice enhancements.

Does anyone know what CoolBaby's official model number for these is? It's still not listed on their official website making it really hard to talk about. (Retro Arcade is about as non-helpful as you can get.)

RS-07 -- but that's not much easier to search for! (thanks Runescape!)

https://szrenshun.1688.com/page/albumdetail_205355295.htm

Bulk on Alibaba: https://www.alibaba.com/product-detail/Coolbaby-RS-07-2018-newest-game_60795773944.html?spm=a2700.7724857.normalList.89.c4e757d47GuzlA

Also looks like it's available in another color! (updated OP)

Sweet! Thanks for the info. It may not be too much easier to search for, but it's a heck of a lot easier in conversation! ;)

That's actually the first color I ever saw it in. It was clearly created to ride the wave of the NeoGeo Mini. I remember thinking, "I wonder if this is an RS-97 stuffed into new guts?" Once I saw the translucent black, I knew i was right. :)

Personally, I think the translucent black looks way better than the toy NeoGeo look.
