The topic of higher capacity BL-5B batteries for the RS-97 comes up frequently in the discord chat. Previously the Link Dream 1390mAh BL-5B batteries were popular but have become very hard to find. 

I found this listing that claims to be a 2100mAh, which would be the highest capacity that I have seen in a BL-5B:

Someone in the discord has ordered a couple, so we should have more info on this battery shortly. Is anyone aware of other higher capacity batteries that work well in the RS-97?

For a true high capacity battery you will need to replace the battery completely.

It is physically impossible to squeeze in higher capacity in the same size.

If the Nokia BL-5B is rated at 800mah, it might be possible to add in 10-15% more actual capacity but double is impossible.

Funny, I ordered one of those exact HSABAT batteries from eBay and when it arrived it is labeled 4050mAh, even though the auction description lists it at 2000mAh.  I'm using it without issue right now but haven't run any A/B tests with it compared to the other 1390mAh Link Dream battery.  I'm very curious to see what other peoples experiences are, as there is no way I believe this thing is truly 4050mAh, and wonder if it is even 2000mAh.

Physically impossible to be 2000mah. At the very very very very best case scenario, it might be a 900mah. Likely around 800
