That's awesome that they are updating the firmware like this!  There is hope that the will fix the *severe* unit bricking bug.  By now, they have to know about it.

This little handheld is looking better and better each day.  Btw, if you email the ebay seller, they can ship orange. I asked and they said they do.

Anyone have the specs for this thing? I can?t seem to find it anywhere. Also removing GBA support in the firmware update seems odd, was the performance really bad?

I noticed it rattles, which means the battery must be loose, can anyone check there's just by shaking it a bit so I know if its just me thanks

Not been able to update this via windows 10 seems silly, its harder to get to the internal sd than the RS-97... I would love OpenDingux on this instead of Lagacy Dingux and Gmenu2x would be better, I guess I can only wish lol  ;)

The instructions say that you need Windows 7. One word - Virtualbox.
I think about opendingux, аt the moment I build fresh rootfs on Dingoo a320 with iplementations from sources gcw-zero.
Then, based on it I can build at least sysfs, without Gmenu2x.
But there is not enough time for this, because there is a family, work.

Are you really going to port Steward's image to the Gopher 2?  How difficult will that be?

If this is true, I'll definitely buy it.

No, I do not do port Stewards image to the Gopher 2.
I'm doing fresh rootfs based on sources dingoo a320 and gcw zero.
It is not difficult.

Not sure what rootfs is.
Will it be an image that can be put into the internal SD card slot?

Is there an active Russian community working on this?  Adding new emulators, software, etc.?

I do not know what they do.
I'm doing fresh rootfs based on sources dingoo a320 and gcw zero alone.
But this work for one and there is.

Could someone tell me the battery model number.  I know it's a 3. 7v 1200mah.  I'm wondering if I can get a third party one with a larger capacity.

I just bought this and waiting on shipping.  The dealer had orange, which is cool.

Oh wow, does that need to be sodered on? or is it plug?  Any name? For example: Nokia BL-5C.  I want to buy an extra one.  There may be one with a higher capacity too.

Do you think a simple foam tape will stop it from rattling in the case?
