if you launch chocolate doom a couple time it seems to fix it.. unfortunately I don't think there's any source of it to see how the sound initialization  is done in the app to get an idea why it's able to correct it..

also the Dingux beta seems to work might worth looking if that can be used..

New 280V owner here (my 3rd open dingux device). Do I really need this ? The stock firmware looks quite solid, and I can swap emulators.

Stock firmware doesn't have hardware scaling for the graphics for both the 280V and M..  Depending what emulators you use you might not notice it..  The Rogue and the Dingux Beta have the hardware scaling..  but the beta is a bit of hit/miss with what works so far..

I've been using this for a month now and have noticed some of the cores in Retroarch don't work. Gambatte and Beetle PCE for PC Engine freeze Retroarch and the app needs to be closed (Power+Select). Both these cores work in OpenDingux. And all the other cores I've tried work.

The stand alone Gambatte opk works great and so does an updated version of Temper.
