a better c64 emulator for miyoocfw
« on: April 17, 2021, 10:26:08 am »
hello.

i wanted to propose the idea for a better c64 emulator for miyoocfw (v90)
the frodo emulator for that firmware is junk, because it can't run prg, crt files and the emulation is sometimes crud

A better c64 emulator would be great, I've tried Cauldron, Cauldron2, Commando, Commando Libya and Giana Sisters on the current Frodo build, and despite all of them being d64 images, only Commando Libya actually ran.

But maybe I'm doing something wrong, if so, advice would be welcome.

actually that emulator isn't that bad.
i gave it a second chance.
i took a handful of prg games, such as: Speedball, Summer Games, Jumpman Jr. , Bruce Lee, and all of them WORKED.
all i had to do is just to convert the PRG Files to the d64 format, by using Dirmaster.
so yes, if you really wanna play your Prg libary on the powkiddy q90, just use dirmaster and make d64 files out of these and you're all set  ;).
