Hi Skelton,

Thanks for putting up the videos.

What?s your first impression regarding the input latency running these games?

I personally don't notice any difference between using this and using my xbox one S wired controller on my laptop. It's ok for me, specially for fighting games that need a good timing.

I was wondering, how does the game controller layout feel in your hands?
In particular, the positioning of the outwards sticks and the inward d-pad and face buttons, compared to the original GPD Win?
And also, do you ever have a problem with accidentally pressing keyboard keys when using the game controller?

This is the first GPD device I'll be getting and I'm quite excited about it.

That?s great news. Hope they also got the durability of the membrames right this time and it sounds like an ace controller.

At first is a bit strange, perhaps shoulder buttons could be a bit better. But I got to use it nice. I don't press keyboard, there is space enough.

About durability, My win 1 is still like first day use, but with these products you never know. also, my device is a prototype, so with our feedback GPD has time to improve retail and IGG units.

In reddit there are quite some stories with issues people have, including the ?ripping? of the membrames. But good to know not all units then have the durability issue.

I have now replaced the membrame and dpad with membrame AND dpad of a DS Lite and now it?s working really well. I guess for the abxy button membrame I need to order some replacements from geekbuying (even though delivery time seem horrible, judging from other peoples stories), as the nubs on the membrame of the ds lite abxy are too close.

But yeah, great that we have an opportunity to provide feedback with the prototype units, such that the final product will be as good as possible.

few more videos...

<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_QPLmxBsYmM" target="_blank">https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_QPLmxBsYmM</a>

The next video (Ghost Recon Wildlands) is running at the limit of playable (IMHO), but for some players maybe unplayable.
The FPS may confuse, because if i hide it, the game feels like running at more FPS that shown on screen.

<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rierpj1N-ts" target="_blank">https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rierpj1N-ts</a>

The next video (The Division) was captured using DVR, and the audio recorded weird, but the game and audio runs ok on the device.
I will try to re-capture this gameplay using a camera.

Hi Skelton, i was watching some of your WIN 2 videos running citra, the metroid samus returns. You said that you were running the unofficial build with avx2 support. Out of curiosity i downloaded the file you uploaded and tried running it at my pc, but it just force close. Do you know if i'm missing something?

In theory not, unless Citra requires some libraries or dependencies that came installed with windows 10.

If you have a good Pc, any citra build should work ok for you, even the official ones. In my Pc I use the official and I can play at 3x res.

Another try with Nioh.
This time, i adjust internal resolution for better graphics quality, without compromise so much FPS, than my previous version.

<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RFJRR0DsdcA" target="_blank">https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RFJRR0DsdcA</a>

A most requested game for testing, Assassin's Creed Origins.
The game is not playable, unless there is a mod for lowering details and elements. There are so much plants, grass, trees, etc, and lower the performance of the game. the solution maybe remove most of these kind of elements (or almost, simplify) for gain in performance.

<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rn3-flbwsFE" target="_blank">https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rn3-flbwsFE</a>

and another game, Subnautica
