Got my unit finally delivered to me. Took them long enough. They used Singapoor Post, and that one delegated the delivery to Russian EMS, which extended the delivery time quite a bit.
Quite a long time ago I asked Kendy to include cyrillic language stickers if they aren't going to do a bilingual K/Bs, and he said that they will do so (that was in the IGG comments) . Got no stickers - probably should've reminded them in some way. Did anyone got theirs?
Works well, does not seem to crash - I ran Borderlands 2 as a test for quite a while (that game seemed to consistently cause crashes on the faulty units).
BTW I managed to optimise Borderlands 2 quite a bit by using combo of Cinematic renderer (removes black outlines, improves FPS by 30-40%), disabled dynamic shadows (brebaked environment shadows are still on), reduced scene shadow res to 256, and low screen resolution - 762x428 - minimum at which menu/inventory text is readable. That gave me really good FPS - 30-40 FPS even in combat, with dips to 24-25 in large outdoor areas with monsters and up to 50-60 in non-open areas. That all with medium textures, medium detail, near foliage and medium render distance. Inventory menu uses a different post process rendering, so it slows down to 25 and lower the more items you have, since they all are rendered in real time and have a lot of polygons.WillowEngine.ini for everyone interested
Now, I want a good free utility to back up the state of my system in case I screw up badly. Can somebody recomend one?
